Cars Crazy

My two (2) year old son is a cars crazy. He's been watching all day "Cars Toon
And the latest Cars 2  and it was great to see that he was playing and talking while watching. He's been so good and I have no problem since he was enjoying, and there was a time that he loves to see some kids playing and watching their cars.. And since he will be a big brother soon. I came up to my mind that I will give him some presents that I know He would love it.
I search online and even at ebay and disney store just to find him a good deal.. and luckily I had some for him and bought it. I know he would be happy to see those and That would be a suprise for him.
Otherwise I am also a big fan of it and I love to buy him for his Cars Collection

Halloween Treat

 Spooky Bride of Frankenstein

Halloween is just a few days away and children are getting excited for trick and treat and even me  was so excited!!
I definitely don't think that the eating well and enjoying dessert have to be in opposition to one another, far more than about the particular dish that you're creating.
Today I will share our yummy  halloween cake treat for this year for my husband co-worker. It was really nice and looks creepy but delish dessert..by the way this is my husband idea..cool huh!

Anyway I will share our recipe for those people are interested enjoy!!

Ingredients:

2  Frozen family size loaf pound cakes
3 containers vanilla frosting
yellow and green  food coloring
3 to 4 ripe bananas, cut into 1/2 inch slices
2 tubes orange decorating icing
2 tubes black decorating icing
1 large marshmallow
1 tube black gel icing
2 red candy-coated chocolate pieces
1 black gummy drop
12 green -coated chocolate pieces
2 large black gumdrops

Preparation:

Slice pound cakes in half horizontally and trim ends to make straight-edges. Position two cake halves on serving platter, cut sides up, adjoining cakes end to end.

Tint 1 container vanilla frosting with yellow and green food coloring to make lime green color. Frost top of cakes on serving platter and cut sides of remaining two cake halves.

Cover cake in serving platter with banana slices and top with remaining cake halves frosting sides down. Frost top and sides of one third of entire cake for face.

In a medium bowl, tint 1 container vanilla frosting orange by stirring in contents of 2 tubes or orange decorating icing. In separate bowl, repeat with remaining container vanilla frosting and 2 tubes of black decorating icing. Using a pastry bag with a star tip, pipe alternating wavy lines of orange and black icing on remainder cake for hair.

Cut marshmallow in half and place pieces on face for eyes. Add pupils and eyelashes with black gel. Draw on crooked mouth with black gel. Add a red candy piece at each end of mouth. Add black gummy drop for nose. Make a necklace with green candy pieces. Place a black gumdrop on each side of face for ' bolts'

Dinuguan at puto

is a Filipino savory stew of meat and/or offal (typically lungs, kidneys, intestines, ears, heart and snout) simmered in a rich, spicy dark gravy of pig blood, garlic, chili (most often siling mahaba), and vinegar.[2] The term dinuguan comes from the Filipino word dugo meaning "blood".

I always eating dinuguan at Goldilocks bakeshop in Philippines, and we have a neighbor who was really a good to  cook when it comes to dinuguan..I was picky to buy that somewhere i don't know or how they make it..except my mother, goldilocks and our neighbor. And this time with my closest friend and she was helping me to make it and turns   good and my hubby (american) loves it..And I was proud of him because he loves dinuguan..

Here's the recipe:

Dinuguan Ingredients
1/2 kilo pork
1/4 kilo pork liver, diced
1 cup pig’s blood, frozen
2 tbsp oil
1 onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup vinegar
2 tbsp patis
1 tsp salt
2 tsp sugar
3 jalapeno peppers

Dinuguan Procedure
1. Put pork in a saucepan and cover with water. Simmer for about 30 minutes. Remove from broth and dice. Save broth (about 1 1/2 cups) for later use.
2. Heat oil in a separate saucepan, then saute onion and garlic. Add diced pork, liver, salt and patis.
3. Put in vinegar and cover the pan. Let boil but do not stir. Redude heat, then simmer uncovered to let most of the liquid evaporate.
4. Add broth used in Step 1 and simmer for about 10 minutes. Pour in blood and sugar. Cook until the mixture is thick. Stir continuously to prevent the mixture from clotting.
5. Add jalapeno peppers and oregano. Cook for another 5 minutes. Serve hot with steam white rice and enjoy!

Craving for KFC????

Happy Tummy!!!!

My husband asked me to  dressed up nice  while I was sitting and feeling so bored in the house. He knows I was hungry that time and he kept telling me what I want for lunch, and I said ' just want a simple meal with a rice', but then we drove by like 30 miles from our place , suprisingly that he brought me in KFC http://www.kfc.com/ (by the way,  there is no KFC in our downtown..)
So happy tummy of course..simply because I've been craving for it...now I'm enjoying eating with some rice :)  Some say KFC or chicken is greasy so you will need a lot of napkins ..hmmmm
The fact is, I don't think the chicken is really greasy at all. The outside is crispy and very crispy. It is not greasy to the touch. When you bite into the chicken you get a very moist meat. It is well cooked, no red near the bones, and extremely flavorful. I love the stuff. I love their Gravy so much.. And still wondering what is the secret  of  KFC????

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Walgreens for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.
With the rising costs of just about everything these days it is nice when you can save a few bucks without sacrificing quality. Walgreens Brand Health & Wellness Products provides a variety of great products at affordable prices. I don't know about you but we don't have money burning holes in our pockets. Saving money is just smart.
During my first pregnancy I was amazed (read frustrated) at the cost of prenatal supplements in the stores. I hadn't used Walgreens Brand Health & Wellness Products much in the past so I compared the contents of multiple brands with the Walgreens brand Walgreens Brand Health & Wellness Products. They were virtually identical, and the Walgreens brand was so much more affordable. Why pay extra for a name? I started taking the prenatal vitamins prior to getting pregnant and all through the pregnancy. I felt great and our first child was a beautiful and healthy baby boy! That was almost two years ago and my husband and I have now decided to have another child. I am using Walgreens Brand Health & Wellness Products, it just makes sense.
Need another reason to shop at Walgreens? How about the Walgreens Way to Well Fund™?
The purchase of every Walgreens Brand Health & Wellness Product supports bringing preventive wellness services to local communities. The Walgreens Way to Well Fund™Walgreens Way to Well Fund™ will provide free preventive health tests as well as other health and wellness services and education to local communities. Easter Celebration

I love to celebrate all the Easter traditions—from coloring Easter eggs to preparing some food.. But of course we started our day to attend the mass and it was fun and nice bonding  with my family. We enjoyed eating palabok that i made and BBQ porkchop with sauce.
