Christmas in our Hearts

I really love this song..I love this song so much. It is beautiful and teared me up. If We always 'Christmas in our hearts' for everyday in our life I bet there is no hatred, poor, victims, and every surrounding is full of joy and laughter and Love, Peace

Whenever I see girls and boys
Selling lanterns on the streets,
I remember the Child
In the manger as He sleeps.

Wherever there are people
Giving gifts, exchanging cards,
I believe that Christmas
Is truly in their hearts.

Let's light our Christmas trees
For a bright tomorrow
Where nations are at peace
And all are one in God

Let's sing Merry Christmas
And a happy holiday,
This season may we never forget
The love we have for Jesus
Let Him be the One to guide us
As another new year starts

And may the spirit of Christmas
Be always in our hearts.

In every prayer and every song
The community unites,
Celebrating the birth
Of our Savior, Jesus Christ

Let love, like that starlight
On that first Christmas morn,
Lead us back to the manger
Where Christ the Child was born

So, come let us rejoice
Come and sing a Christmas carol
With one big joyful voice
Proclaim the name of the Lord!

Feast of the Immaculate Conception Today December 8

Today is December 8 and it is the celebration for the feast of Immaculate Conception. According to Catholic doctrine, the Immaculate Conception of Mary is the conception of Virgin Mary without any stain of original sin. Catholics believe that every people born has already acquired the sin which originally came from Adam and Eve, the first man and woman created by God on Earth. Thus, each newly born baby needs to be baptized in order to remove the sin.

However, with Mary’s Immaculate Conception, from the very first moment of her existence, Mary was preserved by God from the original sin. On March 25, 1858, In the answer Bernadette Soubirous asked Mary who is she and Mary answered it by saying: “I am the Immaculate Conception.”

The Immaculate Conception was solemnly defined as a dogma by Pope Pius IX in his constitution Ineffabilis Deus on 8 December 1854 defining the mother of Jesus Christ as the “Blessed Virgin Mary in the first instance of her conception, by a singular privilege and grace granted by God, in view of the merits of Jesus Christ, the Saviour of the human race, was preserved and exempt from all stain of original sin.”

The Feast of the Immaculate Conception does not pertain to Mary’s conception of Jesus as some believed since December 8 is just 17 days short before the celebration of Christmas, the birth of Jesus Christ. Mary received the message from Angel Gabriel that she would conceive the son of God in the Annunciation which took place March 25. When you count in from March to December, that would be 9 months of conception, exactly the same thing as what an average human baby in the womb of the mother.

In celebration of today’s Feast of Immaculate Conception, let us salute Mary for her purity and say a prayer asking for her guidance and love. One prayer that we can utter says: “O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to you.”

Refregerator Cake

We called it 'Refrigerator cake'. A layered of Graham Biscuit and toppings of fruit salad or mango. The deal here is that there's no butter in the cake, so it stays soft in the fridge, which is where you need to keep it since it is covered with condensed milk and whipped cream. (This is making me drool...)

What you gonna do for the Left Over Turkey

Okoy

Turkey soup

It's almost a week now after thanksgiving and yet we still have some left over from 'Turkey' and some stuff..I don't want to throw it or dump it if still good..I was thinking that if this a big turkey in our house in manila..I wondering that the' bones' will only left :)
So I make Turkey soup with veggies I'd recommend a cream-based or broth soup to add your turkey for a hearty soup meal. If you have leftover cornbread you can use that to dip into the soup as well to get rid of more of those Thanksgiving leftovers you may have.
One of the tastiest things you can do with your leftover turkey is make turkey salad. You can than use the turkey salad in sandwiches, or on top of toast. Add some cheese, and you'll have a wonderful lunch! This is a great way to stretch the leftover meat as well
Fried 'Okoy' is also one of my list..Just add some veggies, flour, Egg and some a little bit spices and to make a sauce for that is to grind the turkey and add soy sauce, brown sugar, flour, garlic and onion.
