In this group are roots and tubers like beets, carrots, potatoes and onions. Cauliflower and asparagus are plant stalks. Food from plant leaves are lettuce, cabbage and pechay. Dinner time

This is my dinner last night and It was so good eating our traditional dish like 'Daing' Dried Fish..I really miss the Philippines, Imagine even just for dried fish that we had in our table but makes us full our tummy and enjoyable eating  with rice and vinegar for dipping..
I wonder how we always love and still craving for our filipino food although were here in the other country'' like the commercial says'' wala pa rin tatalo sa alaska..hehehe but  for me'' wala pa rin tatalo sa pagkain pinoy''. This is my Foodtrip  other than Daing..Chicken liver and  Stir fry veggies..enjoy.

Craving for KFC????

Happy Tummy!!!!

My husband asked me to  dressed up nice  while I was sitting and feeling so bored in the house. He knows I was hungry that time and he kept telling me what I want for lunch, and I said ' just want a simple meal with a rice', but then we drove by like 30 miles from our place , suprisingly that he brought me in KFC http://www.kfc.com/ (by the way,  there is no KFC in our downtown..)
So happy tummy of course..simply because I've been craving for it...now I'm enjoying eating with some rice :)  Some say KFC or chicken is greasy so you will need a lot of napkins ..hmmmm
The fact is, I don't think the chicken is really greasy at all. The outside is crispy and very crispy. It is not greasy to the touch. When you bite into the chicken you get a very moist meat. It is well cooked, no red near the bones, and extremely flavorful. I love the stuff. I love their Gravy so much.. And still wondering what is the secret  of  KFC????
